Andrew Thomas Clifton has emerged in the world of photography as an imaginative and consistently evolving talent. Raised primarily in the rural and urban sections of the midwestern and southern United States, he offers a uniquely genuine and consistently progressive vision of the world's people, places, and things. Andrew has a deep rooted love for photography and constantly strives to combine that with his other passions of science fiction, history, and black and white films in a way that is uniquely his own.

With beginnings in self-taught photographic experiments dating back to 1996, Andrew is a talent full of transformation and dynamic growth who has the versatility to shoot any medium of photography with success. The images he produces maintain a relevance across the years because they are deeply rooted in the very soul of man and woman and always speak of the simple unspoken relationship between people and the environment around them. He is photographs capture the hidden moments that reside between the seconds of life that evoke a sense of observation for the viewer to live within the simple moments that often are overlooked. His images are most noted for both their deep use of dynamic differences between darkness and light and a consistent use of shadows to interpret the more brooding nature of beauty and their composition which literally makes the viewer become apart of the image and able to share in the experience from the viewpoint of his eyes.

Andrew’s ability and photographic works have received the acclaim of various media and are also a significant part of numerous art collections and gallery projects across the world. Among those acclaims for him includes the honor (in 2005) of being the youngest photographer (at the age of 24) ever inducted into the prestigious Paul R. Jones Collection where his work is viewed along side such legendary photographers as P.H. Polk, James Van Der Zee, and Gordon Parks. In 2007, he was selected one of the few select photographers contracted to shoot presidental hopeful Barack Obama during a private session for the Obama for America campaign. His uniquely dynamic photographic services have also been utilized for such clients as NBC, Ebony Magazine, The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Schools of America
